Trading Rules & Payouts

Every rule that matters — drawdown, consistency, news trading, payout cycles and methods — in one place, before you buy.

Clear rules beat small print. This page summarises the rules that apply across Papaya Funding programs. The challenge cards on the homepage always show the exact numbers for your chosen program and size — when in doubt, those cards win.

Drawdown rules

  • Static drawdown (CFD evaluations): the maximum loss is fixed from your starting balance.
  • EOD trailing drawdown (futures and CFD Instant Funding): the limit trails your end-of-day balance.
  • Daily drawdown: 3% on CFD evaluations, 2% on Instant Funding programs, none on futures evaluations.

Consistency rules

Consistency limits how much of your total profit can come from a single day. CFD evaluations: 50% (Papaya One and Papaya Signature). Funded accounts: 18% on CFD Instant Funding, 20% on Futures Instant Funding, 40% on Futures Papaya One and 50% on Futures Papaya Signature. Papaya Two has no funded consistency rule.

News trading

Existing positions may remain open through high-impact news. However, opening or closing trades is prohibited within 3 minutes before or after a high-impact news release.

Rules FAQ

Can I trade during news?

Existing positions may stay open, but you cannot open or close trades within 3 minutes before or after a high-impact news release.

What happens if I break a rule?

Breaching a hard rule such as the drawdown limit closes the account. Soft rules like consistency delay payout eligibility until the requirement is met.

How do I receive a payout?

Payouts are processed via Rise, crypto or store credits, depending on your choice, once your program's payout conditions are met.

Is there a maximum number of accounts?

There is no fixed count, but the total allocation across all your accounts cannot exceed $1,000,000.
